... and the girl I grew up with. I always thought that my sister Susan resembled Vermeer's Girl with the Pearl Earring. What do you think?

Earlier this year I read "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Tracy Chevalier. It was really good!
Martha, It's rather like seeing a study for the painting only the girl refused to get all dudded up. Susan could be sisters with "the girl". Another Simmons girl??

Good grief!! I must have been studying up in Dad's little office--probably fell asleep and there was Dad waiting, with his trusty camera, for me to wake up! He loved to do that--catch us unaware! I'm about 22 there! I look more like 17 Yikes!
