Change of Season, Change of Place

I'm still in the midst of unpacking from our move back to the woods. Lots of closets and drawers have needed clearing, and lots of walls need paint. Seems that I am going through a transformation as pronounced as the autumn leaves. I will be back to posting more regularly as the weather gets colder and my nesting is complete!

I wish the trees around here had colors like that.

hi travis! do the leaves change at all where you are in texas? are they just more muted? you may not have the bright autumn colors, but i do hear that the stars at night are big and bright, deep in the heart of texas! :*)

I took a walk today into the woods and it was wonderfully transforming. It seemed the crazy thing to do since I am BEHIND in every other task, but...
you know about the "but"s! I am so glad you went walking too!

Love your leaves, and your puddle reflections, and your harvest moon too!

We in L.A. are slowly, very slowly creeping into the fold of Fall.

We have a quick, over night trip to Salt Lake City, so we'll see some real turned leaves, hopefully.

Martha!

The leaves are starting to change here in Chicago but they aren't as vibrant what you showed.

Like Teri, I too love the shots of the puddle's reflections.

What is it about leaves in water that look so amazing?
