A sneak peak into the beginnings of a new project. I'm invited to participate in a paint on velvet exhibit this summer. Never thought I'd see the day (although I did hint at it at the end of this post) but oh, what fun! So I picked up these black velvet tops at the second hand clothing store, and started working with acrylics. These may end up simply being painted articles of clothing, like my Dream Dress, or they may evolve into full figures. We shall see...
