The Portland Paper Project

Jenna at Twilight, 2005
pastel on Rives BFK, 22" x 30"

I was very happy to be invited to contribute to The Portland Paper Project at Whitney Artworks on Congress Street here in Portland. This pastel portrait is one of the works that the curator chose (I apologize for the quality of this image - I scanned it from my book because I couldn't find the jpg...I'll keep looking...)

Several of the artists in the project are neighbors of mine in The Artist Studio building. If you are in town, do check it out! It's a great opportunity to see a large collection and selection of works on paper, in the raw.

This is truly stunning. I'm in NY so won't be able to see this live, but glad I got a peek from your site.
Happy New Year!
