Irene Hardwicke Olivieri

See what happens when you clean house. You find things. I found Elizabeth's Layton's work yesterday, and today while decluttering, I found a small leaflet I'd stashed away that has information about this artist whose work I posted this summer and whose name I couldn't recall, Irene Hardwicke Olivieri.

Where do you come up with these artists? Another great one!

like those old beach boys used to sing, i get around...

no, really, being in school recently brought alot of artists to my attention that i probably would never have known about, and my students introduce me to new artists all the time, and having my studio right next door to the MECA library which is chock full of great art books doesn't hurt!

Her work reminds me a bit of Francesco Clemente. Thanks for making me aware of her, and Elizabeth Layton as well.
