No, being an MOB isn't bad at all, it's actually quite sweet! A couple of new favorite shots from Kaitlyn's wedding day. I got some books on Chagall out of the library today. In addition to working on my new portrait series (I have several volunteers in line already! Yay!) I want to do a series of drawings and possibly prints about the wedding. I've been looking at some of Chagall's brides for inspiration. I know from past experience that it is important for me to reserve time to do more personal work along with the portraits, otherwise I can feel completely drained by being with people all the time in my studio. I'm a true Pisces in this regard - very impressionable - and like a sponge I soak up others' energy. So for balance I'll need some alone projects.
