The Devil's in The Details

My most recent progress on the Primaries triptych - I think that's what I will title it. Primaries.

very cool.

i like how the left one is more white
with the wedding veil thing going on
and the other two have more deep contrast

Hi Martha--I've looked at these images up as close as I could--and I know from seeing your works on the computer and then visiting and seeing them in person, that there is a big difference--there is a depth and a richness and more details to be seen when in person. My only critique since I know you are still working on these and I hate to give any critique at all because I don't want to interrupt your process, but you specifically asked, is that Mom's head really looks like a flesh color compared to the rest--and maybe this is a trick of the photo? Also Dad's fly on his pants looks lighter? I've got to say at this stage, those two things are the only things that seem out of place--to me
I love all the images you have going on--all the great details and I can't wait to see this in person!!

Thankyou, William! Had to go to Urban Dictionary for definition of IRL... :^)

Thanks, Marc! Yes, I want to make that veil even more white but transparent and covering more of that imagery...

Sue! Thankyou! Yes, Mom's head looks a warmer shade of gray, and my intention is to have that happening in some other areas of the triptych...and yes, Dad's fly is lighter - I haven't refined his bell bottoms yet - there is a white stripe that needs to go down the side of those pants, and some pocket detailing. That's your only critique?? Phew, THAT was easy to take! :^D Thankyou! Maybe you can see it IRL (look it up - I had to...:^) this summer....

In real life? That's my guess and I didn't look it up--you gave it away
