Fabric Squares

Playing with more of Lisbeth's designs in Photoshop, getting ready to place a fabric order. I'm a sucker for bright colors - I do intend to make some more subtle color combos, but I had to start with these!! Probably because my eyeballs are starved after the long white winter...

Oh! These look great!! How will they be placed on the fabric? Just one color combo at a time? I can't wait as you can tell!

I think for starters i'll have these centered individually on fat squares and make sets of napkins...i would also like to make pillows...i'm wondering about making a border of some sort on each square using some of lisbeth's rectangular cuts...but i think that would be too much. i think that a stitched border on the napkin in the contrasting thread color would look great...i haven't graduated to an all over fabric design yet, a repeat - i'm working on it!

I adore the color combination of the second one!

What about monochromatic schemes? Blue mandalas on top of a blue background for example?

Just throwing ideas out there!

Dean, you need to come work for me! Yes, I do plan to have more restrained palettes and color combos, eventually! Restraint, restraint...
