A couple of sights you won't see until next summer. This is my last morning glory before the frost hit Saturday night and I took my last swim in the ocean Sunday morning (not here in Maine! I was in RI!).
Thank you, Martha, for the morning glory, though your feet are nice, too :) Morning glories always remind me of a wonderful image from a British drinking song. "Here's one for the morning glory, and two for the early dew, three for the man who stands this round and four for the love of you my girl, four for the love of you." I know, a little off beat, but the blue of a morning glory just brings it to mind. And I can't think of a friend I'd rather send morning glories to than you, Martha. You bring wonderful images to us with your art and your words and your thoughtful sharing. Thank you.
I am an artist, an art teacher, a mother of five children, and a grandmother of four, and I live with my husband and our two cats in the woods of Woolwich, Maine. I teach drawing classes through the Continuing Studies Department at Maine College of Art in Portland, and now privately in my new (!) studio @ 72 Front Street, Bath. My blog 'Martha Miller' shares my art, my process, and my inspirations, and my blog 'Not Bad Thing' showcases my daughter Lisbeth's artwork and process. It is also where I share my experience as a mother of an adult child with special needs. You can see more of my artwork on my website @ www.marthamiller.com

Thank you.
Nicely put Lo-an! I love the sunlight raining down on the water!
Whoops--not so nicely put by me---sorry--Jo-an!
Martha!
Morning Glories are one of my most favorite flowering vines!
They can grow almost anywhere and can overtake a backyard fence like nobody's business!
Thanks for sharing!
