I started my five 10" x 10" pieces for the upcoming Black Frame Sale yesterday. My series this year is about the birth or creation of Eve. The pieces are mixed media collages - I will be working on them more this afternoon and will take some pics! I find it fascinating that there are 2 creation stories in the Old Testament: in the first, Adam and Eve are created simultaneously, and in the second, Adam is created first, and Eve is pulled from his ribs. My series is based on this second version.
