- I am an artist, an art teacher, a mother of five children, and a grandmother of four, and I live with my husband and our two cats in the woods of Woolwich, Maine. I teach drawing classes through the Continuing Studies Department at Maine College of Art in Portland, and now privately in my new (!) studio @ 72 Front Street, Bath. My blog 'Martha Miller' shares my art, my process, and my inspirations, and my blog 'Not Bad Thing' showcases my daughter Lisbeth's artwork and process. It looks alive! Dance of the blue tarp---like some sea creature.
i know - isn't it beautiful? at the end it looks like an actual hand is pulling the tarp in a circular motion. i love how it's behind the chained fence - like a caged beast...
Wow! I think there is quite a menacing feel to the tarp. Especially at the end. It looks posessed. I like your self portraits.

hi sarah - yes, it does look possessed! it stopped me in my tracks on my walk to my studio that day and i had to film it!

Your studiomates are a lively and talented bunch. Your photos and videos really caught the energy of the place--felt like I was there. What a gutsy lady Greta is and what a terrific concept!
