Mandalas

I found this old photo of me taken by my father in the fall of 1969, when I was fifteen. I am in my basement in Warwick, RI, working on a mandala for my 10th grade art class. I think it's the only one I ever designed. Both of my daughters, Kaitlyn and Lisbeth, make mandalas now. Ah, the circle of Life. What goes around, comes around...

I love mandelas... though I've never made one. Saw a staggering show at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria (BC) by Jack Wise. He's a Canadian artist... not sure how welll known he is. Now I've got to go google him!

Do you still have this one? I think I remember this one--does it have people in the lotus position all around it interlocked? I wish that you do still have it!

Love that you found your Self a small page of your own history. Nice find.

Come around and catch the "Grounding" meditation, I think it will be of great service to the lot of us.

Wow! 1969. I was 15, too. Certainly conjures up a lot of memories. Glad you are still a creative soul!!
