October Walk on the East End




































I left my studio downtown at about 5:00 last night and kept walking toward the East End and up Munjoy Hill until sunset. Here are some October colors and sights from this part of our fair little city. Now I'm home to the woods of Woolwich for the weekend. Enjoy!!

Is that blue house with the vine for real! Looks like a beauty pagent house with its vine sash. Oh, and good one of the hose! Looks like fall--for some reason I think the east coast has more spirits or older pirits or different spirits than here in CA--or the connection with spirits is closer? I'm not sure how to say what I want to say...

i know what you mean..there's a graveyard on the east end that was founded in the mid 1600's called East End Cemetery - their website is called Spirits Alive...

the picture of the hose was definitly taken with you in mind! Go ahead and paint it if you like!!

yeah, how about that blue house? and that vine is all purple and blue morning glories! quite spectacular! although we had a heavy frost here in woolwich last night - so our flowers have all been hit - we'll see what portland looks like this week...
