I teach Life Drawing Tuesday nights at MECA and last night I had the students tape a paintbrush to the end of a 4' long stick and stand way back from the easel. They dipped their paintbrush in a cup of black India ink that sat on the floor and drew the model from this distance. I did this drawing in that manner as a demo, then worked into it with a bit of pastel.
