The Super Moon






My husband and I walked over the Carlton Bridge at sunset to catch the Super Moon rising Saturday night. It was a big beautiful tangerine colored moon - what a spectacular way to herald the first day of spring! We still have lots of white stuff on the ground, but signs of spring are everywhere - robins, a red winged blackbird, a barred owl's mating call, melting snow, a purple crocus, and great chunks of ice heading down river...
