My first triptych. So far it's about the three people who raised me: my mother, my father, and my grandmother. It's going to be all black and white media, like my ancestor portraits - charcoal, ink, white pastels, acrylics. Black and white can be so powerful, like old films...Rock me in the cradle of my new studio...

Oh this is just so nice. Thanks for this post. I've been thinking about getting back to drawing, a lot lately. This is encouragement for me. Your work is wonderful.
