A few pics from this past week. We are in the middle of a blizzard as I type this, and I am amazed that we haven't lost power (knock on wood)! I hope that you are all enjoying the holidays! Stay warm!
Andy and Ocea also just finished putting a radiant heat system in the basement, and poured the concrete, a HUGE project. Step by step, it's coming along! They plan to be moved in by spring!
I made some simple Christmas cards yesterday. I've made more work intensive cards in years past, but this year I decided I just wanted to do a good old fashioned potato print. We picked up our CSA share of veggies from Goranson's Farm last Saturday, and there were some decent sized spuds to work with...
Some nifty gift ideas over at Brainstorm Studio! Leave a comment when you check out saying you came by way of this blog, and I'll include a beautiful mandala card with your purchase!
I am an artist, an art teacher, a mother of five children, and a grandmother of four, and I live with my husband and our two cats in the woods of Woolwich, Maine. I teach drawing classes through the Continuing Studies Department at Maine College of Art in Portland, and now privately in my new (!) studio @ 72 Front Street, Bath. My blog 'Martha Miller' shares my art, my process, and my inspirations, and my blog 'Not Bad Thing' showcases my daughter Lisbeth's artwork and process. It is also where I share my experience as a mother of an adult child with special needs. You can see more of my artwork on my website @ www.marthamiller.com
