A couple of quick studies that I did of our beautiful model for my Mixed Media Portraiture class at The Farnsworth last month that demonstrate the use of oil wash and pastel on paper. I have to get back to drawing - the garden has held me captive of late! It's high summer weather here in Maine today, and I'm hearing the first cicadas and crickets of the season. Happy Monday, all!

It's neat to see what you can do with just a limited amount of time!
