Some images from yesterday's Mixed Media Portraiture Class final crit. I am sad to see this class end! It was such a great group - I will miss them on Tuesday mornings!

- I am an artist, an art teacher, a mother of five children, and a grandmother of four, and I live with my husband and our two cats in the woods of Woolwich, Maine. I teach drawing classes through the Continuing Studies Department at Maine College of Art in Portland, and now privately in my new (!) studio @ 72 Front Street, Bath. I just adore the name tag curtain descending from the ceiling too! What's the story behind that?

Dean, you will have to move to Maine so you can take my class! :*)That would be way cool. That name tag curtain belongs to some Meca student - it might be part of their senior thesis project, or up for a review. I liked taking pictures through it!
I might just have to move to Maine then, Martha!
