One of the many perks that comes with teaching through the Continuing Studies Department at the Maine College of Art is to be privy to the on-going and ever-changing array of wonderful student artwork on display in the hallways. I believe that this particular installation came from the 3-D I class assignment to make a sculptural installation out of "a thousand of something." I have made these spheres as Christmas decorations out of recycled cards over the years, but have never come close to creating this amount! What a delightful installation! It had everyone smiling!
