Colorful Nina Petrochko

Martha Miller
Nina's Grand Day, 2006
mixed media on Rives BFK, 29" x 41"

Next in line in my portrait series, artist/sculptor/performance artist/fashion maverick, Nina Petrochko. I did this portrait of Nina in the spring of 2006 when we were at MECA together. Nina will be sitting for me again this Friday. I just love Nina's exciting color combinations!

Photograph's all courtesy of Nina's Facebook album.

She's got some fun and funky fashions going on! Looks like she would be a lot of fun to draw.

Trust me. None of you want to be that GIRL’s - mother. Considering she is a 40 year old child still. Amazing artist. Sadistically seditious abusive selfish delusional egotistical and above all - scared.

Not to mention - increasingly foolish and cavalier with her job, life, work and career. No need to take my word for it. Just ask why she’s under review for having her residency revoked after hundreds of images and videos of self shot “less than professional”/my word!-NINA!??” Evidence of a clearly - altogether - shameless - Nina Petrochko. One can certainly appreciate the art, though without having to appreciate the artist.
