Sewing up a storm...

this one is SOLD. thanks, sue!!! my first etsy sale! ta da!

Four Flirty Valentines
felt, recycled cotton fabric, ribbon, ric rac, machine stitching, and acrylics

...in the middle of a snow storm.
I holed up in my home studio in Woowich on Sunday while it snowed all day and worked on my Allie's Cats. I also created these little Matisse inspired fiber confections for my new Etsy shop, barnfire studio (these are nice big files so do click on the images to get great details!)
Hard for me to believe (because I so burned out on these several years ago) but it's been alot of fun dusting off my doll patterns and sewing again!!

Oh my gosh, the ornaments are so great!!! I love them all :) Do you hand stitch them or do the free motion sewing?

hi brenda

thanks!

free motion sewing - is that what you call it? yes, on the machine. i've been doing that for years, never knew it had a term!
my old singer doesn't even have a zigzag stitch. just forward and backward, that's it! i've sewn a million things on it, including my wedding gown!
:^)
