I started another new portrait today. (I'm nearly finished with the other three that I've been working on since October, and will post about them tomorrow...)
Portland musician Chriss Sutherland sat for me this morning. He is getting ready to release a new CD and wants his portrait on the cover. It's off to a good start - I will soon be adding some images to the background. Chriss gave me 2 CD's today (hooray! new music!) one of his solo albums, Me in a Field, and The Orchard, a new CD by Fire on Fire (formally Cerberus Shoal) a phenomenal alternative band that he plays with.
