Photos from my summer Mixed Media Portraiture class that I teach through Continuing Studies at the Maine College of Art. Students worked from live models using a variety of media including charcoal, pastels, ink, oil, and collage. The models introduced themselves and brought in personal items to share and stories to tell. These elements provided grist for the portrait making mill.A couple of these students are only seventeen. The class yielded some great stuff to add to their college portfolios A fun group and terrific work!
