A Modern View (1987)

Images from a book I found at the MECA library yesterday. Turns out it was from Carlo's collection - he keeps speaking to me! The book is The Self Portrait: A Modern View by Sean Kelly and Edward Lucie-Smith, and it chronicles an exhibit of self-portraits made by invitation to a group of 60 artists, including heavy hitters like David Hockney and R. B. Kitaj, in Great Britain in the 80's. I'll post more from this book soon.

dear Martha, this book could be very useful for my master but I can't find it anywhere. Do you know if it speaks about nudity/naked self-portraits? Thank you in advance for your response! Gabi
