So I wasn't working flat for most of the portrait. I much prefer standing at my easel with my paper at eye level!!
Thanks for the positive feedback. I have to finish this piece now which is the biggest challenge for me!
Glad to hear from you. Are you attending the Monday night drawing sessions at 1 Longfellow Square? Alex told me that she might put together a "one last show" this month of figurative work at drawing room...martha millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17847828956846494958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5341967932815075836.post-63491171167911558452008-06-29T20:47:00.000-04:002008-06-29T20:47:00.000-04:00I'm so glad someone captured this! I don't think I would be able to get any semblance of proportions if I did that. But you got it right, plus breathed a lot of youthful exuberance into it at the same time. You're pretty remarkable!Rob S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09189372586918106258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5341967932815075836.post-49767528932946116512008-06-28T11:41:00.000-04:002008-06-28T11:41:00.000-04:00These are great! Lucky couple to have such an energetic portrait of themselves at this time in their lives.artslicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13557982924385155156noreply@blogger.com
